Warning: Don't Get Hacked!
During recent weeks, clever computer hackers have managed to use the well-known online 'Evite Invitation" to hack into computers in our neighborhood. If you receive an "Evite" invitation in your email, EVEN IF IT HAS THE CORRECT NAME AND CORRECT EMAIL ADDRESS OF A SENDER WHO YOU KNOW WELL, DON'T OPEN IT. DELETE IT IMMEDIATELY!
Many of us who have received such invitations in the past have had no problem. However, some have learned how to use them for nefarious purposes, and we need to be aware of the threat. If you have any doubt about such an email, call the person to ask whether it is really from them. If not, delete it.
