Jacaranda Island Goes to the Dogs !!

The October Social is to recognize the work and devotion of the Patriot Service Dogs in raising and training service dogs for veterans with disabilities.

The program will include the following speakers who will describe the long process from puppy to fully trained service dog, and hopefully, one or more service dogs. 
  • Julie Sanderson - CEO & President of Patriot Service Dogs
  • Cindi Quick - Former inmate who trained our neighborhood's very first service dog, Maverick.  Women inmates are a major component of the service dog’s life as a puppy and young trainee.
  • Crissy Harris - Honorably Discharged Veteran with her service dog Winnie.
  • Dave Harrold - Short "Service Dog" cost presentation.
